Grupo Vidanta, which is known for its luxury resorts across Mexico, is expanding to include cruises. Based out of Puerto Vallarta, Vidanta Cruises will be Mexico’s first luxury cruise line and will launch with the inaugural ship, the Vidanta Elegant.
The Vidanta Elegant, an adults-only ship, will feature a crew-to-passenger ratio of nearly one-to-one with 149 state rooms and suites. In addition, passengers will find 12 restaurants and lounges, a spa and fitness center, nightly entertainment, a boutique and a top-deck pool.
The itinerary has not been released yet, but passengers can expect that the ship will call along the Pacific coast of Mexico. The first cruise is set to take place in 2022.
