Staying in a treehouse is the stuff of childhood dreams, but one Airbnb is sure to be a hit with kids and grown-ups alike!
That's because, not only are you staying in a huge treehouse with two bedrooms and a living room, but the treehouse stay also includes a huge pool with a swim-up bar, and a quirky children's play area.
The Redwood Tree Haus in Texas boasts some serious fairytale credentials with its wooden carved exterior, as well as some tree trunk creation weaving their way through the property (including one that's home to the TV).
There's also a private deck with seating if you want to sit outside but use the nearby trees for shade during the hotter hours.
The treehouse is a far cry from the 'sleeping bags and rickety structure' deal we had as kids. Instead, expect two bedrooms, a bathroom complete with a tub and shower, and a fully equipped kitchen so you can whip up hearty meals.
Then there's the huge pool which has its own swim-up bar which can seat up to 17 people. The pool is actually shared with residents in the other treehouses nearby – but as there are only four properties, you won't need to fight for poolside space.
Oh, and the hot tub is sure to be a hit too.
Bringing the kids along? There's a children's playground with a slide, swing and some colourful decor too.
The best part is that you won't need to break the bank if you want to book a stay.
Prices start from £269 a night, and as the property sleeps up to eight, if you fill it then that's £33pp a night.
Now, Texas isn't exactly a budget-friendly destination for Brits, but the good news is that there are ways to get there without breaking the bank.
For example, you can find cheap flights to Austin from £300 on Skyscanner, while Norwegian and British Airways offer direct routes from the UK.
Austin is then less than an hour's drive away from New Braunfels, where the treehouse is located.
Not sure you can stretch your budget to the USA? Don't be disheartened – we've rounded up amazing treehouses in the UK you can book for a holiday.
