Armed with a camera on the end of a selfie stick, NFL cheerleader and YouTube sensation Lindsey Bell and her friend Darcy plan on entering an underground cave.

The explorers are clearly apprehensive about their trip, with a nervous Lindsey telling viewers: “We are going to hopefully not get stuck because apparently that’s what happens in caves.

“I don’t know why I let her talk me into this, I don’t know why I think this is a good idea but we’re doing it.”

The two blonde babes don bikinis and cautiously head down into a giant crater in the earth.

“We can see down into this little cave, this is what we’re going down into,” Lindsey stutters.

Soon the camera is plunged into darkness, but what waits for the women underwater is incredible.

They snorkel past rocks as light reflects off the cave’s underwater walls.

Next the pair swim through a tiny hole underwater and discover man-made staircases and more natural pools filled with crystal clear water.

The stunning tourist attraction – known as the Devil’s Den cave – is located in Gainesville, Florida, US.

It attracts hundreds of visitors each year who come to explore its natural hot springs and underground cave systems.

“I’ve got to add this to my bucket list,” one fan commented on the clip on YouTube.

Another said: “Was I the only one who thought it looked so majestic with the light shining through. You two looked like mermaids.”

The footage comes after a group of explorers in the UK recently got stuck 100ft underground thanks to one very X-rated reason.

The clueless cave divers were sent in the wrong direction in an abandoned mine thanks to some very explicit graffiti.
