Japanese theme park unveils 'life-size' Godzilla attraction



Slide 1 of 6: A 'life-size' replica of the movie monster Godzilla has been unveiled at the Nijigen no Mori theme park in Japan.
Slide 2 of 6: The attraction is named 'Godzilla Interception Operation Awaji' and sees guests being told they are researchers that must stop the creature. They can then zip-line into its enormous spiky-toothed mouth.
Slide 3 of 6: The structure at the park is 55 meters (180ft) long, 25 meters (82ft) wide and 23 meters (75ft) high.
Slide 4 of 6: After landing from the zip-line, visitors can take part in a shooting game to 'destroy Godzilla's scattered cells'.

Slide 5 of 6: Godzilla has appeared in over 30 films. The original was released in 1954 and the most recent - Godzilla: King of the Monsters - came out last year.
Slide 6 of 6: A spokesperson for the Pasona Group, the company which operates Nijigen no Mori theme park, told MailOnline Travel: 'It is the first life-size Godzilla replica in the world'.
