As a member of the Royal Family, no matter where you’re visiting, you’re always watched by millions of fans.
So, it’s no surprise that Kate has a number of fashion tips to ensure that she looks flawless wherever she goes.
Even if she’s about to board a plane or meet hundreds of international fans in sweltering heat, Kate always manages to keep her cool and look her best.
From comfort to modesty, Kate has a hack for it all.
Now, Express.co.uk has gathered some of Kate’s best fashion tips that travellers can use to remain comfortable, unflustered and sleek on their next holiday or break away.
This may seem a simple tip but it’s actually the most practical for seasoned travellers.
Kate is often seen on plane runways meeting and greeting people.
And as most holidaymakers may be aware, runways can get pretty windy.
Myka, founder of Beaumont Etiquette, revealed back in 2018 to The Sun that hats are sometimes used to keep hair in place.

She said: “Often it’s so windy and breezy that hats are used to keep hair in place.
“Just like the dresses fly up, so does your hair.
“Right when you walk off the aeroplane those are the first photos that go viral, so the hat is often used right when they walk off for that reason.”
To avoid your hair whipping around your face when you exit or board a plane, dig out a beanie or a beret.
Kate, and many other women within the Royal Family are often seen sporting heels.
While they may look sleek and elegant, high heels are not the most comfortable shoes.
Wearing heels is especially impractical when you’re travelling – waiting for your luggage or queuing to board a plane.
But Kate has reportedly solved this problem too.
According to Vanity Fair back in 2015, Kate uses insoles by Alice Bow.
Their brand’s website says that insoles are “designed to cushion the ball of your foot and heels, whilst being thin enough to fit unnoticed into any shoes”.
Weighted down hems
To avoid skirts or dresses blowing upwards in the wind, Kate and other women in the Royal Family wear weights in their hems.
Stewart Parvin, one of the Queen’s couturiers, told the Daily Mail: “Surprisingly, it is nothing fancy.
“I use curtain weights, lead weights, from Peter Jones’s curtain department.
“We call them penny weights.”
