TUI announced today that it is cancelling all holidays to Turkey.
The news comes after Transport Secretary Grant Shapps revealed that the country was being removed from the travel corridor list.
Anyone returning from Turkey will ave to quarantine for 14 days from 4am Saturday 3 October.
TUI has said all holidays up to and including October 3 are cancelled.
Anyone with a holiday booked is advised not to travel to the airport.
Those affected will be offered a full cash refund.
As for holidays from October 4 to 15, TUI have said they will proactively update customers.
TUI said in a statement: “Following the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office’s (FCDO) recent change in travel advice for Turkey, TUI UK has cancelled all holidays to Turkey up to and including October 3, 2020.
“All impacted customers will automatically receive a full cash refund and we advise them not to travel to the airport.
“Customers currently on holiday in Turkey can continue to enjoy their holidays as planned and return on their intended flights home.
“We’ll be proactively updating any customers due to travel from October 4 to 15 October tomorrow.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused due to the sudden change in advice.
