You can get paid to review European Christmas markets this winter

Nothing is better than walking round a Christmas market and sipping on mulled wine.

Well, that is until now.

Hotel chain Premier Inn is offering five lucky people to test out the most iconic European Christmas markets – and you will even get money for it!

If you are fortunate enough to be one of the five, Premier Inn will cover the cost of travel and accommodation at one of their hotels.

Even better, they will even throw some spending money your way.

What a way to get into the festive spirit!

All you need to do to become a ‘Christmas market tester’ is write up to 250 words about your most recent visit to a festive market and select your two favourite Christmas market locations.

Sounds simple enough, right?

However, not everyone will be chosen as only five people will get to explore Christmas markets in either London, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Dublin or Frankfurt.

So that means you could be living your best life in the British capital or tucking into a bratwurst in the famous German city.

Feeling like you don’t want to be lonely this Christmas?

Fear not, Premier Inn is allowing the five Christmas market testers to bring along a friend each.

But, this is a ‘job’ after all.

Which means all you have to do is report back to Premier Inn after you have visited the market and share your thoughts of it, along with snaps of the festive lights, stalls and decorations.

Sounds like a dream job to us!

Simon Ewins, Managing Director at Premier Inn commented: “Here at Premier Inn, we love all things Christmas.

“And visiting a Christmas market is the perfect way to visit a new city, which is why we want to send five Christmas fans to some of the UK and Europe’s best festive spots to report back, safe in the knowledge they can rest easy with us after a busy day exploring the stalls."

“Christmas markets have gone from strength to strength in recent years and so we know our official Christmas Market Tester role will be a dream job for many, with the opportunity to explore markets in the UK, Dublin and Germany all on offer.”

Applications are now open and will close on the 28th November 2021, for more information visit:
