Pleasant Holidays CEO Jack Richards said the incentive program is part of the company’s commitment to supporting the island’s economy by encouraging tourism after wildfires in August devastated parts West Maui.<\/p>\n
“Maui is open to visitors outside the areas most severely impacted by the recent wildfires, and Pleasant Holidays and Journese are committed to supporting Maui’s tourism economy,” Richards said. “The resort areas of Wailea, Kihei, Makena and Hana are welcoming visitors with prime accommodations and numerous opportunities to explore the island and culture of Maui through tours, luaus, hiking and more, while the West Maui communities of Kaanapali, Napili and Kapalua will reopen throughout October with only Lahaina closed to the public.”<\/p>\n
