Molori Safari, a safari company from South Africa’s Madikwe Game Reserve, has expanded its footprint with the launch of Molori Mashuma in Mana Pools, a Unesco World Heritage Site in Zimbabwe. The camp is part of the Rora Private Collection, offers travelers a unique African safari experience in a Unesco World Heritage site.
The camp consists of six air-conditioned, tented suites, reflecting a design deeply rooted in the local environment. The concept, brought to fruition by Johannesburg’s Hesse Kleinloog Studios, incorporates work from local crafters and artists, with a design theme resonant of Molori’s original lodge.
“Mana Pools is one of the few Unesco World Heritage Sites in Southern Africa, and once you’ve visited it, you can clearly understand why – its unique biodiversity and wildlife experience is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced in all the years I’ve spent in the bush,” says co-owner Eric Ichikowitz.
Molori Mashuma boasts diverse game-viewing areas, from riverfronts to wilderness reservoir backdrops. The camp is especially active from April to October, as receding waters draw wildlife to the region’s natural pools. Activities include rewarding walking safaris and dining experiences near ancient baobabs or along the Zambezi’s wildlife-rich banks.
For reservations and further details, visit Rora Private Collection. The camp is accepting bookings for stays through Oct. 31 and will begin its full season on April 1.
